Informa Markets acquires Premiere Show Group

THE WHAT? Informa Markets announced the acquisition of Premiere Orlando, the largest beauty salon in the United States, and its sister shows Premiere Birmingham and Premiere Columbus, for an undisclosed amount.

THE DETAILS The salon and its smaller counterparts focus on trends in skin care, hair care, nail innovation and more.

Howard Britts, president of Premiere Shjow Group, will remain with the company in a consulting role and Ed McNeill, vice president of Premiere Show Group, will lead the team going forward.

THE WHY ? This addition complements Informa Markets’ presence in the global beauty and aesthetic communities, which includes an extensive portfolio of beauty products in Asia with more than 12 salons, including Cosmoprof Asia.
