Fortune 50 Online Retailer Places Follow-Up Order for Vuzix Smart Glasses to Support Expanded Warehouse Utilization | News

ROCHESTER, NY, March 4, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Vuzix® Corporation (NASDAQ: VUZI), (“Vuzix” or the “Company”), a leading provider of smart eyewear and augmented reality (AR) technologies and products, today announced today a Fortune 50 online retailer placed a $200,000 Vuzix smart glasses tracking order to support the growing use of these glasses for training and remote maintenance in its warehouses. This order follows a successful proof of concept (POC) at one warehouse early last year and the initial rollout of Vuzix smart glasses to 40 warehouses several months ago. This follow-up order will support the subsequent deployment of glasses in these 40 warehouses as well as the initial deployment in additional locations.
