Good quality brow products are some of the most expensive makeup items, especially considering the fact that they are for daily use and therefore need to be repurchased often, unlike a red lipstick or a glitter eyeshadow.
So we dug in and found dupes for some favorite and hugely popular premium brow pencils, pomades and gels from brands like Benefit Cosmetics, Anastasia Beverly Hills, MAC, Huda Beauty and Charlotte Tilbury.

1. Benefit Cosmetics Precisely, My Brow Pencil (Rs 2,390): Makeup Revolution Precise Brow Pencil (Rs 499)
Image credit: Sephora Nnnow, HOK Makeup
This Benefit brow pencil has one of the finest tips imaginable, and while the shape of the one from Makeup Revolution is pointed and not flat, it’s also very small. The one from Benefit is available in a huge range of shades and is waterproof, but the one from Makeup Revolution is only available in a few shades and is not waterproof. That said, it lasts long enough, and at this price, we can hardly complain!

3. MAC Eye Brows Big Boost Fiber Gel (Rs 1,900): elf Cosmetics Wow Brow Gel (Rs 490)
Image credit: MAC Cosmetics India, Nykaa
The MAC Fiber Boost Gel somehow helps tint the brows and give the illusion of added brows at the same time. This elf product is one of the few that looks like this MAC gel, because most of these brow gels can end up looking messy. However, the elf does not and looks great. Both of these brow gels contain fiber to help give brows a fluffier, hairier look. So if you want a gel that makes brows less sparse, this elf Wow Brow gel is ideal for a feathery, lush look.

4. Charlotte Tilbury Brow Fix (Rs 2,150): XX Revolution Brow Fix Clear Gel (Rs 795)
Need a clear brow gel that doesn’t add tint or fiber to your brows? Both are great. However, there is a considerable price difference between the two, although the XX Revolution variant is not exactly cheap. It holds brows for a while and is perfect for that “clean girl” brow look popular today. So if you already have lush, dark brows and just need to freeze them in place, try this.

5. Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade (Rs 2,280): PAC SuperBrowww Cream (Rs 625)
Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade is iconic, to say the least. It can give you a bold and dark “Instagram eyebrow” or even be used with a light hand to create hair-like strokes. But, if that’s too expensive for you, you can try the PAC dupe featured here. This PAC pomade also needs you to dip it in very, very lightly with an angled brush, and you need almost no product to fill in both brows. However, PAC’s one is creamier and takes longer to set, while Anastasia’s one sets in 40 seconds and doesn’t budge after that unless the skin is very oily. Of course, PAC does not fall into Anastasia’s extensive range of shades, but there are still several shades for darker Indian hair colors in the PAC range.

6. Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz (Rs 2,280): NYX Professional Makeup Micro Brow Pencil (Rs 875)
This NYX eyebrow pencil is a famous dupe of Anastasia’s iconic Brow Wiz. Texture, level of pigmentation and ease of application are excellent in NYX’s, but it doesn’t come in an impressive range of shades like Anastasia’s. That said, the Espresso shade is a great color for dark hair, so it works quite well. Even though the NYX isn’t cheap, it is more affordable than the Brow Wiz.

7. Huda Beauty #Bombbrows Microshade Brow Pencil (Rs 1,500): elf Cosmetics Ultra Precise Brow Pencil (Rs 590)
There are many micro brow pencils on the market to help create thin, hair-like strokes. But the one that most closely resembles this Huda Beauty product is this elf pencil. While the shades in the Huda range are a bit darker and work best for darker hair, elf also has several neutral tonal options to try, so all is not lost!
