Crowdmark hires Lyssa Neel as Chief Operating Officer

Dr. Lyssa Neel, formerly with MaRS Innovation, has been recruited to join the Crowdmark team as Chief Operating Officer. Since the launch of Crowdmark through the University of Toronto Early Stage Technology (UTEST) incubator, Dr. Neel has been the key business advisor to founders Dr. James Colliander (CEO) and Martin Muñoz (CTO).

Dr. Lyssa Neel has a PhD in computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and has vast experience in high technology business. As co-founder of UTEST and Project Manager at MaRS Innovation, she helped launch and advise twelve companies. Dr. Neel served as CEO and CTO of VitalHub (Toronto). She served as CTO and implemented the core product for HealthGate Data Corp. (Burlington, MA), a company that went public in 2000.
